In The Evolution of Stars artists tried to capture what is distant and unknown in the universe within the limits of human capability, so that, at least for a moment,  the viewer could feel the destructive power of the Black Hole or see the indescribable beauty of the Planetary Nebula. Dozen of films, includ- ing the ones created at the astronomical obser- vatory of the Nicolaus Copernicus University  formed a logical whole, from the birth of a star from gases and dust of Interstellar Matter, through a peaceful life on the Main Sequence, to death determined by the initial mass of the star.
